Here at Allworlds Geothinking, we’re not just about work!

We’re also a bit mad about geographic information in our spare time.  Here are some ways in which you can have fun with maps and geography:

Geocaching.  It’s a global treasure hunt!   Use your GPS (Global Positioning System) to search for hidden objects – there are certain to be some close to where you live.

Google Earth is a fun, free, downloadable application for looking at maps, satellite images (check what you can see in your garden) and for flying around the earth.

Google Maps is also very useful and is especially good for navigation, and you can create your own maps to share with other people, and upload photos.

Bookcrossing is a global book treasure hunt!  It’s about sharing and finding books in places around your neighbourhood.
